University
of Texas at Brownsville
These
are template layouts for the university web site designed to load quickly
on a 28.8 modem, be compatible with the Bobby requirements for Americans
with Disabilities, and be relatively easy to update by numerous people.
To
give viewers more visual information, we proposed the use of Flash movies
or sideshows that are linked to main pages, but do not automatically load.
The slide shows would be mainly photographs of things such as buildings,
dorms, classes, campus events, and extracurricular activities. We
did not design the scorpion logo. These files are 150 DPI for printing
to an Inkjet or Laser printer, so are higher resolution than a typical
web graphic, so may have an increased load time.

City
of Huntsville, Texas
This is a ink to a redesign of the city of Huntsville, Texas, This site
has been awarded, but has not gone into production yet. It will have over
1,000 pages when completed. Huntsville is a small, forward-thinking town
town in East Texas. It is the home of Sam Houston, Sam Houston State University
and the Texas prison system, along with several art museums and the Texas
Prison Museum. The site redesign will incorporate several smaller sites
into one cohesive design, eliminate redundancy, and tell the reader more
about the advantages of living, working and visiting Huntsville and Walker
County.
