January 2005 to present. Technical Writer / Editor, The University of Texas at Austin.
Department of Computer Sciences. Job duties include design and updating of OEA website, spotlights on events, individuals and research groups, (layout) posting of technical reports on Unix server, photography, graphic design and copywriting of all department collateral (PDF file 504 kb), posters, banners, etc.

June 2000 to Dec. 2000. Adjunct professor Austin community college.
Taught 2D Interface Design and Digital Imaging. These courses involved concept, design concepts, basic HTML, extensive Photoshop, Director, scanning, using a digital camera, and minimal use of Illustrator, Fireworks, and Adobe Dimensions.

Aug. 95 - present. Grosvenor Design, design for print, signage, and web.

Produced annual reports for Prime Medical for years ending 95-99.

Dec. 93 - Dec 94. Creative director, Skrudland Photo, Inc., a national photofinishing company.
DBAs Skrudland Photo and Signature Color. Designed and produced marketing materials, print wallets, packaging, tray designs, order forms, brochures and advertising. Researched expansion into Canada and Canada Post. Company has since become part of ClubPhoto.com.

1981 - Nov. 1993. Creative director and co-owner of Three A.D. Inc., a graphic design studio in Austin, TX. Responsibilities included new business, concept, art direction, copywriting, marketing, production of artwork, illustration, media placement, public relations, management of accounts and staff. Main Accounts during this time: Sanborn's Travel, Imcoa Pipe Insulation, Kallestad Chemical, 3M, StarDate Magazine, and private dorm advertising for dorms at UT Austin, Arizona State University and Texas A & M, including Dobie Center, Madison House, (UT), University Towers (TAMU) and University Towers (ASU).

1984 - 1992. Lecturer at Southwest Texas State University in San Marcos, TX.
Taught introductory and upper level graphic design, advertising concept, typography and Macintosh skills.


1980 - 81. Art director for Multi-Media Associates, an advertising agency in Dallas, TX.
Duties included art direction, illustration and production art.

Work produced for Austin ad agencies and direct clients. Duties included art direction, illustration and production.

Production artist on Blue Bell Ice Cream packaging, Dresser Industries, and Conoco at Metzdorf Advertising, contractor to Wetmore Printing Company on various small printing jobs, Silver Moon Graphics (graphic design studio specializing in annual reports) and MDR Advertising (Shell Chemical, main account).
